During your study at Matej Bela University in Banská Bystrica you will meet with several information systems (IS). The IS is a student or employee represented by a virtual identity that we call the user account (hereinafter the account).
The use of this account is conditionally by entering the user name and password that you only know. By combining user name and password, we will call login data.
In most university IS two accounts are used:
- UMB
- AIS
1. UMB
UMB account serves to subscribe to most IS at the University. This means that you will be everywhere (except AIS) to accept the same login data. If you change your password, then the change will appear in all systems and everywhere you will already login with your new password. Some IS require addition to the login name of the string @umb.sk or @student. wash. en. You will be warned about this in directions to the relevant IS.
1.1 How do I get login data?
Students
If you are a student account UMB will be created automatically on the second working day after your registration. Login data You will be delivered to AIS as a new message.

Staff

Students
If you forgot your password, you can let you generate new to this website.
Staff
If you are an employee or student who does not have to contact your ICT administrator for any reason. The ICT administrator list can be found on this website.
2. AIS
The AIS account serves only for login to the academic information system (AIS).
2.1 How do I get login data?
You received the login information along with the announcement of the acceptance of the study by mail. The login name is the personal number of the applicant for the study indicated in the decision to accept the study tagged as AIS ID. You can change your password as soon as possible.
2.2 How do I change my password?
The password can be changed after logging into the system. The password is valid for 365 days. If you do not change your password before the end of its validity, you will no longer be able to subscribe to the system and you need to contact support for AIS at your faculty.

2.3 What if login data expires?
If you forget the login data or you cannot log in to AIS system for another reason, contact AIS support for your faculty.
